About Us
City Hill Servanthood Academy (CHSA) is a nonpublic private school that provides educational services for grades k-8 in Columbus, Ohio. During the 2027-2028 school year, CHSA will open its doors to students in kindergarten through 5th grade. The following year, the school will add a new grade and repeat this pattern each year until reaching k-8 capacity.
Our curriculum program reinforces basic knowledge in key foundational skill areas like reading, math, science, and language arts with a concentrated emphasis in the science of reading that targets the Big Six; oral language, phonological awareness, letter-sound knowledge, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. The uniqueness of our curriculum program allows students to engage in career exploration beginning at the kindergarten level so that they can build an early awareness of the career path they choose to serve their community.
Healthy living and physical fitness are also an important part of our school providing an atmosphere where students can participate in calisthenics exercise, studying the human body, learning about proper nutrition, herbal, and agricultural sciences. Students in the 5th-8th grades endeavor to learn about STEAM (Science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) at a deeper level exploring more advanced topics. Lastly, we prepare students to lead with a servant’s heart by teaching character principles using a biblical framework that will enable them to demonstrate traits of honesty, accountability, self-discipline, service, and display love and respect toward others.
